Mooter, these are indeed great news (and the short will add fuel to an eventual rally), but we need a better market in general to get VLNC moving right now, it seems we are still looking for a bottom and cannot find it.

Mooter, Zeev, et.al.: Hmmmmm.....so shortie interested went up an additional 400K shares during the period that VLNC had stopped falling and plateau'ed in that aforementioned range of ~$14.75 to ~$18?

Looks like sumbody either thinks they see further downside from here(silly, greedy, them)....orrrrr...somebody be expending "ammunition" keeping VLNC capped. After viewing this past months trading characteristics my vote is for the latter case. Somebody's insuring VLNC goes nowhere for the time being.

And unless the market completely falls out of bed with the NAZ crumpling to 2500 or so I expect VLNC will stay right in that range. Probably until legal machinations have completed.

Bottom line from my point of view? Excepting certain amounts held aside to play the trading aspects of its range-bound nature each, and every, time it gets to the low end of its range I be adding a percentage to long term holdings.

Now on to true commencement of the holiday. Happy Memorial Day everyone(although I'll be monitoring it closely, given I'm testing some wireless "stuff" right now....oh I do love new toys!)

John~
