Obviously the warning shows poor performance and a lack of forecasting ability, not to mention the total lack of productivity of THQ's internal developers, and the resulting losses caused by them.

But what is more troubling than a few bad quarters is management's obvious attempts to hide the real reasons for the weak performance. This indicates to me management who are not working to fix problems, but instead working to hide problems. Farrell's comment on Bloomberg that executives will be "buying shares" next week is laughable. I don't want him buying shares - I want him making profits for THQ. Keep your personal business outside of work and focus on not squandering the chances that the WCW and WWF gave you to become a major player.

Industry problems are normal and are severe right now. It is THQ's response, or lack thereof, to them that makes this a very poor looking investment right now.
