I sense hostility towards the postal service. Not to worry they'll all shoot one another soon and then who'll deliver the mail.

For what it's worth .33 cents is cheap to send a letter anywhere in the US. The success rate of getting these letters to their destination has to be in excess of 99% - and typically in 3 days or less. For .33 cents that's a deal. ANd I dont' believe the "real" price of stamps has increased dramatically if at all.
