Ever been on the phone with MSFT support? THey suck Hate to disagree with you here, but yes, I have been on the phone with MSFT support. I was one of the unfortunate persons that had AOL eat my other ISP, Earthlink. Then kept on eating other parts of my computer. AOL was the worst as far as support. Earthlink knew about the problem but did not know how to fix it. MSFT was extremely understanding and helpful. They even called me the next day to see if everything was OK. True story!!!

But what's the alternative. You think Linux is better or Unix what?? Windows has what has made the computer what it is today. Apple could have been there but wasn't smart enough to see the Big Picture. They wanted the monopoly. They wanted you to buy their hardware so you could use their software. That's a worse monopoly. Imagine if Bill G also controled the hardware. Imagine if Bill G said you can only use Windows on Microsoft computers.Then we would really hear an outcry from the DOJ. Sure MSFT squished people. Imagine living in a country where you couldn't build a business. They did it. They made it. They had the $$$$ to do it. They did it better they reaped the rewards. They get the big bucks. Everyone else has excuses. <G>
