OK, I agree to be the score keeper of JimP's contest. I have created a Yahoo account and will setup a virtual portfolio for each participant. I don't intend to separate your OS and EnP picks as that would double the number of accounts unless you insist (I'll have to do that work only once after all, and so far, I have checked that yahoo accepts at least 27 portfolios). I will buy in each portfolio $1000 worth of the stocks you picked, using fractional shares so no cash is left (or do you want to make $1M?). No need to lend me the money! <g> And sorry, no margin allowed! <ggg> I am setting up an Excel worksheet so that I can paste in the yahoo portfolio summary and generate automatically an ASCII table that I can then paste easily into an SI post. This way, it should not take me more than one or two minutes to post intermediate results from time to time or when somebody asks me. At the close of this contest, I will reveal the username and password of the yahoo account so anybody can check the results easily (of course, I can't reveal the account before since some will for sure want to falsify the entries). If for some reason, I have to quit SI, I will try to pass on the account details to another volunteer. Any comments? JimP: Please let me know when the contest is officially closed, and the final table. The preferred format for the table is one line each for each participant On each line the Particpant Name followed by the picks separated by spaces only, no commas (this way I can paste straight into Yahoo portfolio). What are the "starting prices"? Still the close of yesterday? If somebody can provide those prices, I'll appreciate, otherwise, it will take me some more time to get started... Let the fun begin.... yours truly... e.
