I can trade in and out of these Vanguard funds on a daily basis without paying any commissions since I have big bucks at Vanguard.

They are far from hot funds, but do enable me to make many profitable trades with very little risk since the foreeign markets as a whole almost always FOLLOW the US markets.

These funds are not very volatile -- so I am willing to play with large sums.

But if one buys an outside fund through a brokerage account (say a non Fidelity fund through Fidelity brokerage) then you do have to wait 2 days before selling.
