To me the situation is: does the market want to give someone a lock? For instance, in other areas of exchanges, etc. will Commerce One (or was it Ariba, or both) get 5% to 25% fees on transactions as stated in their S-1? No.

And despite various efforts to buy lockins with shares or otherwise, stock prices discount in perpetuity, and the cost of entry will actually come down for later entrants if the valuations of the lock owner are too high.

As an independent observer of this business, I would not value it over 50% of the current trading price, and even then, there are now better values out there.
