More signs of inflation: Home Sales Fall As Higher Rates Bite

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Sales of existing U.S. homes fell 6.2 percent in April, the National Association of Realtors said on Thursday, as the housing market showed signs of slowing in the face of higher interest rates.

The private realtors' group said sales in April fell to an annual rate of 4.88 million units from a revised 5.2 million unit pace in March. The March sales pace was revised up sharply from an originally reported rate of 4.83 million
