Hey Jim and Evolution! I think I have a fun idea....how 'bout we create a "Strictly Drilling" SD Mutual Fund! Each persons' pick constitutes 1 share. The opening day share price's aggregated together and averaged then becomes the NAV. With a spreadsheet, the "fund" could very easily be tracked in terms of % up and down. This would give Slider,JohnQ,Sarge the ability to show how their "phantom" trades beat us all! LOL And, by the way Bull, Dog (any connection? heh heh) Where's your picks? Whadya think? Cosmo

jim_p, I consider your contest great and grand good sport. Much like Knights of the Table Round wagering on the next days joust over a hearty meal of venison and claret. One thing vexes me however. You have stated publicly that you do not expect the OSX rally to extend past the fall. Correct me if I am wrong, but September was the month, you stated would signal the maximum amount of time you would accord to any rally in the OSX. Therefore, I beseech thee, shorten thy contest. <G> September 1, I suggest as an honorable cutoff date. It is in keeping with your own timetable and is soon enough to maintain more than passing interest in the contest. Who knows, if the time is shortened, perhaps even the "Black Knight" may even be induced to enter, ankle biting chihuahuas and all. I can see his shield now - 10 screaming Chihuahua's being devoured by gargoyles from Hell, resplendent on a field of scarlet. :o}}}}}}}}}}} Wherefore art the noble and exquisite Diana?
