Mani,

AMD was down on large volume. So was INTC, DELL, SUNW, MSFT, RMBS, .......

There is nothing wrong with AMD. The stock was doing great. Then the Fed broke the market, and the natural reaction when AMD started falling was for people to believe something was wrong. The whole thing has snowballed now, and I don't know how they are going to turn it around.

Re: Again, why the very large volume in AMD past couple of days? I think something maybe up

Mani,

There's two sides to every trade. In other words, there was roughly $1,400,000,000 of new money into AMD in the last 2 days alone (20 mil at $70). At least it's held above $70. Let's hope the new money is reading this thread and the old money was Kumar's followers.

From AMD's all time high, it's only down roughly 23%.

AMD is the best performing stock on the S&P for the year.

The Naz has been crushed lately, we are up from when the damage started.

Considering the overall market damage, how much more can you ask for?
