Just a few random thoughts that need to be repeated, I think. First off this Korean thing was reported last year at almost the very same time of the year by the WSJ. Turned out to make not a bit of difference in earnings that I could tell. Secondly, I've not seen one "analyst" that has published any report that has factored in any China deals at all. In fact they have stated that they have left out any China projections deliberately because you never know until the money is in hand what is going to happen.

So this leaves us with the following:

1) There is something going on that we collectively don't know that is causing this stock to crater. (Maybe CDMA doesn't work when it's raining in other parts of the world.) I find this hard to believe since a ton of knowledgeable people on this thread and others have been watching corporate developments like hawks over the last two years.

or

2) This is the second biggest buying opportunity of all time for QCOM, due to general market malaise.

I feel exactly the opposite of the way I felt on Dec. 30 when I called the price rise "insanity". Look it up. Sold all tax-exempt shares at 734 pre-split. I've been beaten up since along with the rest of you all when I would buy it thinking it was cheap only to be stopped out again and again.

However, if we know all the facts, and I think we know all the substantive ones at this time, THIS STOCK IS DIRT CHEAP.
Buy it, close your eyes, hang on with white knuckles and grow rich all over again. This price decline is sickening but it again is insanity if you have a time horizon of more than two years. JMTC.
