Ken, RE: EOD trading...which I desparately need to begin to explore before the next term begins (we are now in blessed summer break, hence much free time...until I leave for the UK). What about Stochastics set at the "trader's-5" as a signal? It is just as objective as MAX, but has the advantage of being less a lagger than MA's. The disadvantage, of course, is that they don't work well in overbought/sold conditions, where headfakes tend to shake one out of good holds...but in playing the 4 to 7 day trends, they are fabulous... I'm waiting for Sam to give feedback on backtesting EOD Stoch-5...or anyone else? Jesso mentioned that ProUtil. can handle Stoch. input... TC.
