It's McNealy.

I really don't know what to make of this guy. He says he doesn't even use a computer. He acts completely ignorant to technology. As far as what goes on in the back room, I think he knows his sh*t pretty well.

IF what he says in public is true, SUNW is in BIG trouble. He's publicly stated many times that the performance of their systems is not important, it's a total package deal. Well, now a 24-way S80 beats a 64-way E10000, you can only push that "perfomance isn't important" so far. Personally, I don't buy it. I think he's in the back room with his engineers pounding his fists on the table declaring "where the f*ck is my UltraSparcIII!!!"

I've got to hand it too him, he probobly deals with the press better than any other CEO.

Like I said, I think the server market is WIDE open now. If AMD ever gets those SMP boards out from API, we could enter the server market.
