Kathy;

A penguin? I think of Opus, on Bloom County/Outland. I think of Linux, which represents rebellion from the status quo (though I'm not a strong disciple of Linux per se, the concept of open-source is so anarchic and anathema to traditional corpthink.... but basically boils down to an old-fashioned concept: sharing.)

I think of tv programs that show how carefully mommy & daddy penguins warm & nurture both eggs and young to renew the flock; it is quite impressive to watch them carefully transfer the egg so they can take turns pursuing food or standing over the eggs for an eternity, to produce just 2 young, every 3 years.

Plus they just look like funny butlers in tuxedos.

I dunno, I suddenly got the idea that penguins were my friends, so I added them to spice my posts. As birds, i like them way better than bald eagles :^)

Thanks for your nice words and I wish you a great, relaxing weekend.

Kevin
