Kit, But they can't do it forever if Fidelity keeps getting its butt kicked in the market, as it has been lately. <g>

BSG:

Bill's commentary on the MU manipulation is right on the mark. It has been rumoured for months that these two ruffians (plus two other funds) decided months ago to "run the stock", in an attempt to squeeze the shorts. The frightening thing about this situation is that there is now just so MUCH stock out there (half a billion shares!!!) and there are also so MANY anxious sellers, that these funds will either end up owning the whole worthless company, or run out of dough trying to support the stock price (which would in turn cripple those funds). I think the probability of this latter situation occurring is high and I think it could occur relatively near term. It is the usual outcome of such insane activities.

Can you imagine the questions now being posed to Capital Group by both authorities as well as their share holders ("You bought HOW MANY shares of this pig in a single quarter?"). The amount purchased sure as heck took my breath away and ought to raise a few SEC eyebrows to say the least.

Best, Earlie
