I just bought the Hip-Hop Millenium CD at Wal-Mart. I was really excited and then realized I only liked about 2 of the songs out of 20. I dont' like most rap either. What I really love is heavy metal mixed with rap and R&B. Kid Rock is a musical genius in how he mixes, samples and rocks and rhymes. I would caution parents, however, that he also has very offensive lyrics. I'm sure plenty of parents that bought the unedited CD Devil Without a Cause because of his hit "Only God Knows Why", were in shock when the next song on the CD played and is titled "Fuck Off". Sold 7 million copies to date. He also uses the deep rap bass better than any audiophile could even appreciate.
