So Son and Gates are still in the race. Only this time the winner will be the one who goes down the least <G>. Since I own both Microsoft and Softbank, I don't care who wins, but I'd sorta like to see them competing on the upside.

About being pulverized by the Government, Gates has been very unsophisticated about donating money to political organizations. He has the naive notion that politics is independent of the bribes, uh, I mean donations to the Democratic National Committee. He should have been donating to both sides all along.

I even see that the Judge seems to think He is competent to make business decisions like splitting off Internet Explorer as a stand alone Company. I suppose AOL will have to spin off Netscape as an independent company too. They can battle to see who will provide the cheapest browser <G>. Maybe they'll give frequent flyer miles or redeemable cupons. As Alice said, "This is getting curiouser and curioser...".
