There is no common ground for any reasonable debate. You feel the world is about to end as we know it and there is nothing but gloom and doom from your side. Because we happen to have one person who feels he is guided by a higher power, right away we are some fanatical group headed to another Jonestown as one of your fellow clowns described it.

If you were at all familiar with the posters here, you would know that all our posts are not consumed by angel talk or deifying Voltaire. He offers a unique prospective that anyone can choose to ignore if it's not their cup of tea. Most of the posts are concerned about true market changes and how to best deal with them. We research the companies, there are TA reports given, and lastly from the info available we choose to or not to invest, or we do our own DD.

We choose not to be gloom and doomers; there is nothing gained by this except to be miserable. If you constantly predict the market is going to fall, of course at some point YOU WILL be right. If I constantly say the market is going to the moon at some point I WILL be right. We choose the middle, how to best deal with market situations. We do NOT choose to be Chicken Littles, rather to look for the positive.

Try as your thread might, you will not shake that conviction, so you might as well stop trying. If that prospective makes us a cult then so be it.

Getting back to the intelligent argument, again I don't see the common ground to even begin one

CobaltBlue: LOL.

What a thread you got goin' on here.

I wonder why you people -- YES, "you people" -- even bother to have the "Clown" coffee shop board.

Appears you don't want to be "investors" at ALL. And you are posting messages on a technology-oriented web site (SI).

What's your deal? Why are you wasting your time? On this and ANY SI board?

From what I see, you folks seem to wanna put your money elsewhere. Like under a rug in Grandma's parlor. Or buried in a hole that is, like, 12" diam by 3' deep, in your backyard. I have some empty large Folger's and Maryland Club and HEB and Randall's house brand coffee cans I'd be happy to UPS ground service over to you guys ... just let me know.
