Voltaire, I am wondering if you might have some advice for me. I am a former lurker who stated posting this week while you were away. I have hit some very very bad times as many in this market have. I am getting margin calls on what is left of my positions ( half of witch has already been wiped out) I am left with 3000 Q uncovered 1000 ELON covered at 50 and 20 Jan 02 200 leaps which I paid 35 for and are now 6-7. Not sure what to do beyond selling, the problem is I will be taxed out of most of what is left due to the fact that the Q is at a cost of 6. Plus I believe in the stock long term and would like to hold on to as much of my core as possible. Any advise you or anyone might be willing to share would be welcome. L Lopez PS I also manage an acct. for my ex with similar holdings but half of her 2600 Q is already covered.
