Jim, interesting chart, thanks. Are you saying that we are in a bear that started in 98 and that the VLIC needs to get to 350? TIA marshall

<Look at it good..the bear started back in 98, the cap weighted indexes depend on to few stocks at the top of the heap to get their numbers..hence they can lie about market conditions for a long time and get away with fooling most of the people..> Actually, your chart tells us more about the incredible buying opportunity circa Oct. '98 than anything resembling a sustainable Bear. Also interesting pattern when the 50 crosses the 200DMA...
