Dan, I agree with you about TV. It's a disgrace, for the most part. That's a lot of the reason why I spend more time here, and at a couple of Christian web sites. The gun control thing is ridiculous. Crooks get guns anyway. I don't know about your neck of the woods, but they're pretty good here about letting "Honest" citizens carry protection for self defense. And you know what? the crime rate here has dropped in direct proportion. I also think criminals need to stay in jail instead of getting crooked lawyers who will say that the police handled the case wrong. I don't know. Maybe I'll watch the movie if I can see it in black and white. The bloody scenes don't seem to bother me as much that way. It could be a woman thing too. But when all is said and done, I know that the answer for me is going to come from Jesus Christ. People have so many questions about things that are happening in the world, but whatever road I take, it always ends up at the same place, The Lord. He's got all the answers and all we have to do is ask. Lew

Dan, I had to get digital cable with slightly expanded choices to get enough decent programming. You and I both know that there is far too little parent supervision on what their children, including teens, watch on TV and log-on to in the internet. Instead of outlawing gun ownership, a gun should be held to parents heads to make them pay more attention to the children they brought on to this Earth. That is an obligation that is being ignored in today's society. ~;=;o --haqi
