Lee, interesting is that if you had bought the top in 1906/7 and had fallen into a coma and re-awakened in 1942, you would have had serious doubts about 'buy-and-hold-because-stocks-always-go-up-in-the-long-run'. <g>

likewise if you had done the same thing in '29 and looked at your stocks again in the early '50's.

read tonight's rap...there are people out there suggesting that there is no such thing as a bear market anymore.
