Actually, proper spelling and command of grammar are right there next to godliness. It is a little-known fact that cleanliness is really a distant third. Everytime someone on SI (or anywhere else) writes "their's" or "loosing money", a demon in Hell's middle management roars approval.

The monks were sensitive to this order of Nature. They smelled awful, but man oh man could they write.
