Now that it is surfacing that I'm not the only one who hadn't heard of koi, allow me help out with the results of my research. It's a fish, a kind of carp. Here in the U. S. some of us think of it as a discolored goldfish.

The interesting thing is that all of this discussion about fish was begun in the middle of a desert by a guy who has some lousy goldfish ponds with no goldfish in them. And with the market being as down as it is, you'd think we'd have plenty to ponder, such as dawgs. Nope. Instead, we're making a big deal about goldfish. Unbelievable.

I had the same thought this morning. The market's gone from a "buy the dip" to a "sell the rally" mentality in just a matter of weeks.

As I'm composing this, cnbc is reporting that normalized trade relations with China are seen as a negative for Qualcomm.

I expect to hear any day that Lindy Bill has taken up ballroom dancing, Buckley has been put in SI jail for profanity, and Sand Wedge has learned how to putt.

Hey, Id-man:

I think that I am in one of those Twilight Zone episodes with a parallel negative universe.

another supposedly astute member of the main thread who will remain nameless here... PM's me to help him with the mantra.

Yeah, I agree with you about the Twilight Zone. Things are pretty mucked up.

But I suspect you've misunderstood that other clown; I know that guy, and let me be the first to dispel any notions about astutitude. Trust me, that guy's a Sofa King Id-iot.
