What rot! Who is Hu? What conflicting, illogical, absurd, nonsense. Still, it's in English, so maybe the translators and reporters did the usual mash of what they were really saying. <In particular, Lei said, Beijing was determined to change the current situation of foreign profit resulting from domestic development.>

Still, a country which has done what they've done for 50 years should NOT be expected to show much in the way of sense. To cap it off with the 50th celebration performance of a colourful Nuremberg-type rally confirms that good sense should NOT be expected from China any time soon.

It's a great shame.

Why are you posting something two days old?

This is getting a bit perturbing, and not directed personally. Too many folks are re-posting old stuff. If something is more than twelve hours old, you can pretty much assume it's been posted. Actually, if it's more than about an hours old during the week and 6 hours on the weekend, but let's give a bit of leeway.
