Hi Jim:

Actually CDMA is robust against interferences,
but it is not particularly spectrally efficient
(it uses phase shift keying). S-CDMA spreads
a QAM signal, but the QAM order is also less
than TDMA cable systems.

For data, the CDMA/TDMA debate is essentially
a red herring, since the efficiency of the
mutiple access prrotocol is probably more
important.
