Some more possibilities...I just checked my online WSJ. They have a section which lists top 100 stocks in each exchange by volume and also % gainers and losers. Would that be of any use? They don't seem to have gainers and losers by price. Apropos study... I've been reading for the third time a book by Mark Douglas called "The disciplined trader". Have found it invaluable in dealing with the emotional aspects of the recent market. O.T. question for anyone. If I sell a stock at a loss and want to be sure to keep the tax writeoff, does the 30 day rule apply if I short the same stock that day? Thanks.
