Brian...ask some of the new car salespeople where their volume is. Not as many Benz's going out the front door, I'll bet. IMO, this will trickle down much sooner rather than later.

Brian, SDLI is my largest holding now. Followed by JDSU,NT,GLW etc.

JDSU is a great one, I have a position in it, but also take a look at SDLI if you are not already into it; it may be a faster grower than JDSU. It has also held up better during the downturn.

No doubt, the wealth effect has been mitigated. I talk to my friends in Real Estate and although the market remains firm they say that several clients took big hits in Mar/Apr and are cautious. Instead of the $500,000 home its $400,000
and changes to that effect. Intrest rates are not that big a deal yet, people are able to absorb that.
