Very OT unless you are a bear
When I worked at Yellowstone Park for the summer (ah the days of youth: I was 16 and it was my first time away from New York City!!!!!!!!!!!!! You can scarcely imagine the impact) I came back to the dorm one night and there was a bear sitting on the stairs smack in front of the door. Needless to say I went back to the lodge for a few hours. Walking over a bear to get into ANYWHERE is not something I relish.

However, if the market goes down any further I am going to have to get out, low or not: this is very depressing and alarming.

David: sniffing "bear poop" again? Smells like "fruit bars"??! That's my problem with Alan Abelson and the rest of the bears -- they think their own shi'ite doesn't stink!! <vbg>

David-
<In the Fall bear poop smells like fruit bars because the critters have been eating so many berries.)>
Could this be the symbolic sweet smell of success in the current woodsy market we are in? Careful what we step in, especially if we don't see the forest for the trees and bear poop.
