Let's keep the commie-bashing to a minimum. The political situation in Asia has very little to do with what's happening to the NOK - QCOM share price differential.

I think you are probably right. Nokia is a huge holding for me while I just nibbled a little bit on QCOM late yesterday(regret it already<g>).
My point is just in case two competing companies pretty evenly matched in their offerings, Asians are likely to go with non-American companies--that includes Canadian (like NT) and Scandinavian companies (ERICY and NOK). If I was an official in China with a choice on 2 evenly matched proposals, I would have at least a slighttendency (or bias) pick a non-American company. We can't forget the communist system is totally opposite the capitalist--and that can create suspicion. I am not bashing communism or capitalism.

I like companies with business momentum. It appears Nokia is the one in wireless.

BTW---Nokia is my second largest holding. NT is number one simply because they are becoming a powerhouse in optical and addition are also active in wireless. With each earnings report, more and more people are realizing that these guys are getting further ahead of the Lucents of the world.

Tero,

I shake my heads, not nod my head with all your spin. Do not give me any more facts. Nokia owns the world. NOK's WCDMA, GPRS, EDGE are best for all. Nokia got it all covered. No loophole insight. Sealed all deals. Yes.
