Pham: In a nutshell they use their warrants as a form of collateral to conduct their shorting strategy. Hedge funds seem congenitally incapable of seeing warrants and such as a form of long term investment in a company. They're driven by short term needs to make a established ROI for their firm and their customers.

Hence they're VERY short term oriented and short, or hedge, any/all equity vehicles they're involved in. At least...this has been my experience with Castle.
