The first thing that comes to my mind is DOJ. Intel is #1 in flash sales, I believe. I think (and hope) Intel's response to that idea would be forgedabboudit. I heard another guy on CNBC today blaming the Naz market woes more on the Microsoft case than the Fed. Intel needs to tread lightly wrt acquisitions, IMO, and they are buying more in the product areas of comm and networks these days, where they're not a gorilla.

Dear John: I think the fact that they are "fabless" is going to turn out to be a big problem for them in getting adequate supply, so their being acquired by someone is possible. JDN
