If I were Intel facing the "solid" DRAM consortium I would figure out where my dollars could do the most good (highest potential volume output) and provide the most leverage (firm is most in need of capital). Hyundai is the answer on both counts.

Watch the solid consortium break up in the weeks ahead.

Gee, Sherlock, you only consider those people biased and untrustworthy who are honest enough and disclose their biases?

From that, I assume that you consider sources who hide their true feelings and pretend to be objective to be trustworthy.

It is very logical.

Joe

Pomp,

If Tom confined himself to technical evaluations of new products he would be a cnadidate for "objectivity" but he does not. He takes political positions and even positions on stock price and marketing practices of the company that he is evaluating. In fact he prides himself on his assumed ability to affect RAMBUS' stock price.

This IMO eliminates him from any serious consideration.
