I think CpsOmis proposal makes sense. We should just handle it as it would appear in a real portfolio, on the date of the transaction.

I am not ready anyway to handle personal choices, doing the above is already going to be time consuming, I did not expect that.

I didn't read the details. When is SFS selling to DVN?

If contest SFS holders are allowed to switch to a new stock, presumably they would want "credit" for todays bump. To make things simple, lets just keep our SFS and roll into DVN when the the merger occurs. Hell, it may not be consummated until after Sept 1 anyway. Also, there may be other mergers and acquisitions. Jim P. and Evolution may need to quit their day jobs to find time to administer the contest. ::)
