Shows just how little GS 's "analysts" really understand about the mining companies! HM is a massive silver producer these days & btw your mostly correct FCX has a very nice mix of greatly CU from the way I've read their reserves.

Yes, but it produces 2.4moz of gold as a byproduct, which would make it the 6th largest gold producer in the world.
(less than PDG, more than HM)

The Indonesian government "request" to reduce production by up to 30% might eventually have a positive effect on gold.
