chic, OT it is my belief that 4-6 people out of 100 just aren't capable of being productive in our society. You are right that some people may not be able to work productively (due to physical or mental disability), but the une,ployment rate only measures people looking for work, so some of these people probably don't show up in the statistics. From my recent experiences with minimum wage workers, we're pushing it. But the alternative is these people (who may not be highly productive) would otherwise be totally unproductive, and they would just be collecting government support. Joe
