LOL we just got dissed on CNBC.

The dude's reccomendation, sell AMD and buy INTC. AMD is a follower and so sell and take advantage of the high price. more LOL

Tejek, >Those are money resources. They can be anywhere. SV has a strong grip on the title, tech center of the world. It does not have a lock on the title.

I wish there were a Silicon Valley stock, and I'd bought it in the 70s. It would be priced like Berkshire Hathaway, except still going up like crazy all the time.

I go back far enough to remember when the Boston area was about equivalent to SV in number of high tech companies. Now greater Boston is mostly finance and medical as far as dominant industries. Computers and electronics are trivial by comparison. No end in sight for SV dominance.
