David,
That post you responded to is around 550 posts ago so, I don't really have a clue what I may have said that precipitated your response. I am happy to, in a way, meet you but, I don't commute anywhere. I live outside of the limits of a major city in Texas, and you couldn't pay me enough money to go down into the bowels of the inner city. I just mess around the place, smelling the fairly clean air, and don't worry about getting much of anywhere.

If you have to face that sort of commute every working day then, I feel your pain. God forgive me for using that phrase!!!

Your idea of moving the Capitol every 50 years is intriguing but, an addendum needs to be added to the amendment, stating that no administration would be allowed to build marble, or other material, monuments to themselves, and make sure they work in an ordinary office building instead of a mansion. They could also live in a nice little, split-level ranch style, in the suburbs in order to be reminded that they are no more than citizens that got a little lucky for a spell.
