It's not the lack of investment opportunities that makes me mad. It's the fact that I own BEAM because of it's remarkable earnings potential that was just about to be realized. Now Alcon is going to own it. I paid $20 almost a year ago. Now management gave my shares to Alcon for $19. I wasted a year investing in the technology that will set the standard for the industry, and Alcon gets the reward for a song.

This stinks to high heaven!

As far as I can see, management has traded in the "Public" part of the company for a chance to be hooked to a $2B a year drug company. The last thing I want to hear about this deal from shareholders is the sound of one hand clapping while we move on to other beaten down or broken companies!

Someone needs to raise hell!
