Dear MET,

A plausible, albeit cynical, hypothesis would be that, by the end of today, Lehman and its elite clients had completed the replenishment of their inventory of Q.

This would reconcile the two seemingly conflicting events. And I have seen this happen all the time.

Cheers,
Ibexx

FWIW, perhaps there is a less nefarious reason if the situation is viewed from a technical vantage point.

Since many if not most of the techs are taking it on the chin, perhaps QCOM is simply going to fill a pesky little gap from early NOV '99 at the $58 level that was long forgotten during the meteoric rise. In any case, I have my GTC limit order in at $58 1/8
