It's a really good thing for them to do. There was also a rebirth in the PNW of people taking care of cemeteries a while back. You know, maybe as a reaction to jerks vandalizing or maybe just naturally, but it's pretty neat.

There is an odd place along the road in the woods south of here, that I have always wanted to look at to see if it is a cemetery. There was a town nearby, but it's not really a town anymore. I guess, they're all over the place, if you know where to look.

They're kind of neat.

There's a favorite one over the mountains at Dufur (!), up on this ridge. And it's real pioneer and a lot of the stones say things like "killed by horses" "yellow fever" "kilt by Indians" etc. It's amazing.

And there are wooden ones that are just bits of rotted pith, no longer square posts. Long gone. Utah and Arizona have some awesome cemeteries with stuff like "Shot by Billie The Kid," or ones that just say "Apaches." You find them out in the middle of nowhere sometimes.

What should I get?

"He worried about the worms."

It would take some thinking.

"Lemme out."
