My source was actual studies on the statistics of ghetto mobility, which frankly, is more reliable than individual cases. But if you chose to reject the statistics, that's fine with me.

Of course, you are ignoring the fact that I said I was NOT extolling the virtues of life in Cuba, merely making the comparison between the material lifestyle available to Elian v. that of some of our own, and suggesting that to some, "their" America may seem more limited than your "AMerica".

Just for the record, I am extremely proud to be an American. Unlike you, I am not ashamed of my country. Embarrassed by her current leadership, you bet. Disturbed by the trend toward socialistic programs, extremely. But being insulted and condescended to becuase I disagree on the disposition of a Cuban child or refuse to buy into your beliefs makes me neither ignorant, nor a fascist, nor unAmerican.
