Paul -- Paul,, No!! The mkt has been extremely good to me. Even this year I am still slightly in the black. Why-- just because of a mistake buying NOVL? I will certainly be out of 50% - 100% prior to Thanksgiving as when everyone starts dumping for tax purposes it will drop from wherever it is, hopefully much higher than today. How many millions have been bought at 8 or so? Now if that is one of the very few issues that is (artificially) pushed up how many of those shares would be held past the first dip when those are up 20%? I see panic here now so maybe a bottom is in sight, but if anyone thinks institutions will come running back on a buyback think again. The only ones making anything will be the traders and it comes right back or goes lower than it will left alone. One must chuckle asking novl to buy this stock! Why should they not use that cash to invest in companies with a different mgmt style and make a few bux? Why would an 'investor' want them to artificially push the stock up a couple dollars only to see it come back down? The mkts are correcting and during this correction they are punishing the weak. NOVL is very weak! It is sick! They made 2 friggin cents for crying out loud. They are not growing,, actually revs have decreased. Does anyone with any sense believe money should be put here at this time? NOVL may rise if the mkts turn. But it will be mkt driven NOT novl driven as they have a reputation that needs changed and after (IF) that happens several qtrs to regain the credability they lost.
Sorry I am not a cheerleader but at this time they have done zero to change that perception. Instead of novl buying the stock why do not the officers and directors buy on the open mkt with their own money to indicate something will be done. NOT $2 options but $8 stock purchased like we did? How tough would it be for that group to come up with 500K shares at this price? That would be news. In the mean time this is roadkill! It takes more than a product to make money. Things like sales and leadership. Even the mkt leader cannot make it with things that novl lacks and has thus far done nothing to change except talk.
