<< try living untouched by the web, etcetera per WH's post...

huh ? the internet for most is a play thing. it is certainly convenient to converse with friends who live in other places but before that we managed with the phone and (gasp) snail mail. there are legions of people on yahoo and the other search engines, yet not spending a dime on them. i'm typing this message from a public library and there are 10 internet terminals. the other 9 are taken by kiddies who are playing. they have no credit cards. they buy nothing.

didn't warren buffett say that no one ever made a dime, net net on the airline industry ?

it would be tough to live without radio, but you must have in your travels seen a chart of rca circa 1929. how have investors fared investing in radio for the last 70 years ?

the internet will be no different. granted, if you bought yahoo at 5 you should be okay, but there will be bag holders galore in this industry, and many will have bought the stocks on your profile.

enjoy your Memorial Day
