Victor, Alberto? >Vilar has experienced market tumbles. Since the end of March, the technology-laden Nasdaq has fallen steeply. His own fund, the Amerindo Technology Fund, which in 1999 returned 249 percent, is off 41 percent. His second, Amerindo Technology Fund II, is still waiting in the wings. It is not expected to be launched until the first reaches a $1.5 billion asset cap. Btw The best thing I ever did was bailing out of Van Wagnor. March 31st 2000.
