It looks like the peak of Intel offering is still
near the 666MHz area, while AMD Athlon is apparently
at 800, or even better when accounting for the
tail of older 0.25um parts that are still on
hands of resellers.

On the other hand, the recently introduced Intel
B0 stepping may not reach the retail channel yet
on full scale, so the data are not clear.
What is clear however that Intel
seems to be catching up, P-iii-800 are showing up
at mass retail stores like BBuy and SAMs...
