Wiser?

Poorer perhaps but not wiser.

I suspect egames sector has further to drop and that Xmas will be disappointing. Also concerned that egames are going the way of snail mail. More delivery mechanisms now than retail pick em up at the store. Not sure the model for capturing profits on these other delivery mechanisms has been worked out.

Watching ERTS closely. If it drops below $50 watch out.

This is how crappy AKLM has been in terms of financials etc..

dailystocks.net

and here's THQI

THQI has done a beautiful job. If the top Exec's get to make a few million, they deserve it. Let's be fair.

Here's ERTS.. not bad...
dailystocks.net

THDO? They're all over the place, like AKLM.

THDO has less cash, more shares and less projected revenue (earnings) so I'd say THQI is a better choice right now.

ATVI is somewhat similiar to THQI but they are a little sloppy on the control side. They're stock hasn't appreciated as much because they dropped the ball a few
times.

MWY has been a mess.

So what's THQI going to do this year and NEXT? They need to keep earnings in the $.90 range this year and move to about $1.80 or more next year. They don't want to get in the same position as the other game developers where earnings drop and they suffer more than 1 year's decline.

The cost cutting THQI is doing now is a good thing. They need to get rid of all the crap that doesn't sell and focus on licensing strong brands, making more great wrestling games and getting a few good titles that they OWN, that they can develope sequels to etc..

THDO says Playstation II is going to be a cash cow. I think the hype will be great for all the gaming stocks later this year and next.

I wonder how ERTS will do? Looks like their stock could take a hit to $30-40 like ALL THE REST of the group.

Remember: THQI needs the stock price higher just like we do. They're goal is not to run the company into the ground.

Buy in the summer, sell in the winter....
