Duke, stocks that are interlisted will be able to be traded. These are usually large cap Canadian companies that have US listings in addition to their Canadian listings. Nortel: NT (NT), Jds Uniphase: JDSU (JDU), Newbridge: NN (NNC), ATI tech (ATY), Research in Motion RIMM (RIM). In additon lots of smaller canadian firms that are listed on the NASDAQ OTC BB, will be able to be traded that day on the TSE of CDNX. I suspect that NT and JDS will have the most american trading up north activity as many americans are very familar with them. Also they have had enough volatiltity lately to entice the daytraders. One way to find out if a comany you are think of trading as a Canadian listing as well is go to to stockhouse.com and enter its ticker symbol, this will bring up stocks main page and the canadian ticker symbol if it has one.
