Les, we urgently need Al to print some more so the stock option nightmare can end, right?<g> btw. i find this taxation rule doesn't make much sense...except for the IRS maybe.

Les, one point that was not clarified in the stock option nightmare is that the employee paid the tax in the form of AMT most likely. this will be credited back over time assuming that he does not make millions at another dotcom soon (highly likely that he won't). He also could have chosen to sell at the end of the year at any price and had a net gain of the difference between his option price and the share price. tp
