World's chip market seen to rise 30.6 pct in 2000
TOKYO, May 30 (Reuters) - The global semiconductor market is expected to increase by 30.6 percent in calendar 2000 from a year earlier to $195.06 billion, Electronics Industries Association of Japan said on Tuesday.

PC Unit Sales Brisk in First Week of May
